Alexander is an expert in greenhouse gas accounting and data analytics with more than 10 years of experience in climate change issues.
Alexander has more than 10 years of professional experience working with climate change issues, including greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting at the national, state, and local level; evaluating clean energy projects and policies; modeling projected climate change impacts; evaluating and analyzing model uncertainty; and processing/analyzing complex climate data.
Alexander has supported the U.S. GHG Inventory over the last 10 years, providing technical direction on GHG estimation methodologies, data collection, layout, and processing. He has also supported the development of multiple environmental impact statement (EIS) documents for the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards, providing a technical model analysis on the future climate impacts from proposed implementation.
